FAQ
LIPOSHELL® technology means:
- the highest efficiency of the substance encapsulation inside the carrier,
- effective protection of transported substances against degradation-inducing factors such as humidity, oxygen, digestive enzymes, bile salts or medications,
- high bioavailability of transported substances,
- ability to deliver substances specifically to a desired location.
The innovative LIPOSHELL® liposomal technology is inspired by molecular dynamics, which makes it the most modern and efficient method of delivery of active substances in the body.
LIPOSHELL® liposomes are spherical small carriers with a diameter of 100-200 nanometers. Most liposomal formulations are not able to achieve such a small size and homogeneity (size repeatability) as LIPOSHELL® liposomes. The LIPOSHELL® technology allows to design the sizes of liposomes depending on the intended use (oral formulations: food supplements, drugs; injections; topical application: medical devices).
LIPOSHELL® liposomes are constructed of a double lipid membrane filled with aqueous phase. LIPOSHELL® liposomal membrane consists of high quality phospholipids that can interact both with water and with lipids.
Due to its similarity to the naturally occurring cell membranes, LIPOSHELL® liposomes have a high safety profile. This is exactly the similarity to the biological membranes surrounding every cell of the human body that makes them non-toxic and biocompatible.
Unlike traditional forms of medication, such as tablets, capsules, ointments, creams or drops, LIPOSHELL® liposomes help to maintain long-term stable levels of the active substance in the target area.
The innovative LIPOSHELL® technology means:
- high quality of substances enclosed in liposomes,
- high bioavailability and optimal concentration of the transported active substance at the target site,
- effective protection of the transported active substances against degradation factors such as low pH, digestive enzymes, gastric juice, humidity, oxygen, medicinal effects, etc. In LIPOSHELL® liposomes, the active substance is enclosed within a double layer of phospholipids, which provides long-term protection and stability.
Liposomes, thanks to their unique properties, are applied in various fields of science, including:
- medicine and pharmacy,
- dermocosmetology and cosmetology.
ASCOLIP® is a liposomal vitamin C in the patented LIPOSHELL® technology.
ASCOLIP® is characterized by high vitamin C content in the liposome.
LIPOSHELL® high-quality liposomes provide long-lasting, stable closing of vitamin C inside them and efficient liposomal penetration along with vitamin C to the target cell interior.
The use of the patented LIPOSHELL® liposomal technology in the ASCOLIP® formulation allows:
- high quality of liposomal vitamin C,
- prolonged and stable encapsulation of vitamin C,
- transport of vitamin C in unchanged form (protection against degradation-inducing factors (e.g. oxygen, gastric juice, digestive enzymes),
- easier penetration of vitamin C into the inside of the cell,
- long-term maintenance of high level of vitamin C in the target area.
ASCOLIP® can be widely used including:
- during intensive physical exertion,
- as a "lifebuoy" during a decline in immunity,
- in the period of increased stress,
- as a “beauty vitamin” - vitamin C thanks to stimulation of collagen production improves skin function. In addition, liposomal vitamin C helps in the regeneration of vitamin E – called “vitamin of youth”.
Vitamin C:
- contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress,
- contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones, blood vessels, gums and teeth,
- increases iron absorption,
- contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system,
- contributes the normal function of the immune system,
- contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
One sachet contains 1,000 mg (1g) of vitamin C. This is a dose for adults.
ASCOLIP® dosage is 1 sachet daily. The content of the sachet can be consumed directly or dissolved in a small amount of still water. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. The food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended.
ASCOLIP® should be stored in tightly sealed packaging at 5°C - 25°C (41°F – 77°F), in a dry place, out of sight and reach of young children. Protect from light.
ASCOLIP® retains its properties for 24 months from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is on each of the sachets.
Any preparation, also ASCOLIP®, should be consulted with your doctor before taking it by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Yes, ASCOLIP® can be used in both adults and children. For very young children it is advisable to consult a pediatrician about the dose.
The package contains 30 sachets each of 5 g.
VITA-D-LIP is a liposomal vitamin D in the patented LIPOSHELL® technology.
VITA-D-LIP is characterised by high content of vitamin D in the liposome.
High quality LIPOSHELL® liposomes enable long term, stable encapsulation of vitamin D inside them and effective penetration of the liposomes together with vitamin D to the target site – inside the cell.
By using the LIPOSHELL® liposomal technology, VITA-D-LIP ensures:
- high quality of vitamin D,
- long-term and stable encapsulation of vitamin D,
- adequate amount of vitamin D (increased bioavailability),
- easy absorption of vitamin D,
- transport of vitamin D in an unchanged form,
- easy penetration of vitamin D into the organs/tissues (targeted transport).
Vitamin D contained in VITA-D-LIP 1000 IU may be widely used e.g.:
- In children over 1 year of age, adolescents and adults to supplement their diet with vitamin D.
- In people with low exposure to sunlight due to their lifestyle.
- In the autumn and winter period because of the small amount of sunshine.
- In summer, due to the widespread use of cosmetics with UV filters, which reduce the ability to synthesise vitamin D in the skin.
- By people with dark skin, in whom skin synthesis of vitamin D is difficult due to the high content of melanin in the skin (a pigment that acts as a natural sunscreen).
- In adults with an increased demand for vitamin D.
- By people at risk of insufficient exposure to the sun, including those who permanently stay or work indoors.
- In low sunshine months.
- In summer, due to the widespread use of cosmetics with UV filters, which reduce the ability to synthesise vitamin D in the skin.
- By people with dark skin, due to the high content of melanin in the skin, which absorbs UV radiation, reducing the efficacy of vitamin D synthesis in the skin.
Vitamin D:
- contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus
- contributes to normal blood calcium level
- contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function
- contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth
- contributes to the normal function of the immune system
- has a role in the process of cell division
